Spirits and Demons Caught on Film -
Paranormal Photographs Pictures The following page consists of photographs
that remain unsolved mysteries. Many of these photos were taken
long before photo manipulation tools and computers were used.
(Adobe,
the company that makes Photoshop was not founded until 1982).
A few of these images have undergone tests to verify that they
are
not believed to be
forgeries.
Angels and Demons Can Appear in Human
Form
Dead humans do not walk around the earth but evil spirits
and angels do exist. We know from one scripture in the Bible
that
angels can manifest themselves as being human and alive.
"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained
angels unaware" - Hebrews 13
People tend to immediately try to associate
a spirit or what some refer to as "ghosts" with
a dead human. Since they cannot explain the manifestation
they create their own stories to calm their fears.

The
Doidge Angel - Angels of Mons
The Doidge angel photograph was found by Danny Sullivan who purchased the film
at
a British junk shop. Accompanying the film were several letters from the 1950s
that related stories of angel sightings dating back to World War I. (Known
as
the Angels of Mons). The letters had belonged to William Doidge who had written
an
American
soldier
named
Doug
whose friend had seen an angel appear above a Gloucestershire lake prior to twenty
soldiers dying there in a bridge collapse. Doidge searched Woodchester Mansion
for the angel and in 1952, he captured this amazing angel photograph. The photo,
marked “1950 E. Bennett” was examined by professional
photographers who found “no hint of forgery about it" Click

The
Brown Lady
Probably the most famous and most authentic of all ghost pictures,
the Brown Lady would be Lady Dorothy Townsend, living in Norfolk,
England in the early 1700's. It was taken in 1936, during a photo
shoot for Country Life Magazine at Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England
by Captain Provand and Indre Shira. The photographer saw her coming
down the stairs, and began yelling to Shira, who could not see
anything, and thought he was delusional. She is known as The Brown
Lady due to reports of the spirit being seen wearing a brown brocade
dress.
Sefton
Church Demon
This photograph was taken inside the Sefton Church in September,
1999, in Merseyside, England. There was only one other photographer
in the church beside the person who took this picture. Neither
of them recalled seeing the ghost or any flesh-and-blood person
standing there who could account for this image.
The
Hooded Figure
This photo shows a tall, hooded figure floating on the steps of
the altar at Newby Church in North Yorkshire, England. The photo
was taken in 1963 by the Reverend K.F. Lord, who was photographing
the front of the sanctuary. He reported that he saw no such figure
at the time of his visit. It appears to be about three meters
tall. This photo does look like an obvious staging but it has
been studied by photo experts who say the image is not the result
of a double exposure.
The
Golden Lady
A series of photos taken of an abandoned house in America. Nothing
was seen when the photos were being taken. The grey image is
an analysis done by a computer.

The
Tulip Staircase
This picture was taken by Ralph Hardy, in 1966, a Canadian tourist
who intended to photograph the "Tulip Staircase" in
the Queen's House section of the National Maritime Museum in
Greenwich, England. Upon development, however, the photo revealed
the ghostly figure climbing the stairs, holding the railing
with both hands. Many experts, including some from Kodak, could
not find any evidence of tampering. Other figures have been
seen on occasion in the vicinity of the staircase, and unexplained
footsteps have also been heard.
Waverly
Hills Demon
The owners of the Waverly Hills Sanatorium describe these
demons as "appartions" but they are in fact evil spirits.
During the early twentieth century, Louisville had the highest
tuberculosis rate in the country, so a hospital was opened (Waverly
Hills). Many of the patients remained here until they died. The
dead bodies
were pushed down tunnels to the bottom of the hill where they
were then carried off and buried. The Sanatorium has been the
subject of many "Haunted House" type television productions. More

The
Church of St. Mary Angel
This angelic like figure that appears to be praying was not seen
by the photographer
Gordon
Carrol when the shot was taken. The photo was snapped at the church
of St. Mary the virgin in Northampton England.
Earthquake in Japan
This
picture was taken in Japan by my father. It was after a major earthquake
where
many
people were killed. It was very strong and caused much damage.
No living people were there in front of the camera at the time
the picture was taken. So whatever is in this picture are some
type of invisible beings. My father believes they are spirits
coming to take away the dead. - Submitted

Evil
Spirit on Cellphone Photo
This photograph was taken with a mobile phone camera (Samsung U340)
I am not sure what the conditions were exactly, but the man who
took the picture lives on an Indian reservation in North Dakota.
There is definitely a spiritual vibe on this reservation, I grew
up close
by, a lot of violent deaths and such. I have known the guy who
took this photo most of my life and there is no way he would be
capable or have the
knowledge to have faked this picture -
