Raiders of the Ark.
What Indiana Jones Doesn't Know
By now you have most likely seen
the Indiana Jones movie Raiders of
the
Lost Ark. The ark depicted
in the movie is a replica of the Ark of the Covenant from the
Bible. There is no possible way what you are about to read could
happen by random chance which clearly demonstrates evidence of
a divine creator. The first step is to understand why God told
the Israelites to build the ark with very specific instructions.
The Israelites were told to create two angels on each side of
the ark in the seated position. The center of the ark was the
mercy seat where the priests would offer blood for the sins of
the people. The inside of the ark contained the Ten Commandments,
which were given to Moses on two stone tablets. We know from
the Bible that the Ten Commandments were given twice because
the Israelites began to worship their own golden idol that they
created while Moses was up on the mountain. We need to picture
the ark with the number “22 + Stone” in the center
of the ark. (2 stone tablets and given twice) Now let’s
go to the very center of the book and see if we find “the
mercy seat” which is the center point of the ark. When
you add all the chapters of the Bible together and go to the
center you arrive at Psalm 118.
Psalm 118
First Verse - “His mercy endures forever”
Verse 22 - “The stone the builders rejected has become
the chief corner stone.
This was the Lord’s doing: it is marvelous in our eyes”
Last Verse - “His mercy endures forever”
There are exactly 22
letters in the Hebrew alphabet and all 22 letters appear in this Psalm. Keep in mind
that this is from
the Old Testament 1000 years before Jesus ever walked the earth.
In verse 22 we have a reference to stones twice and the phrase “marvelous
in our eyes”. When you read the New Testament you can clearly
see that Jesus referred to this Psalm several times. He was telling
his disciples the Jews will reject their own messiah. In John
chapter 9 the Pharisees were talking to a blind man that Jesus
healed to which he replied. “Why herein is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where Jesus is from and yet he has
opened my eyes.”
Psalm 22
“They pierced my hands and my feet and cast lots for my clothes” This
psalm is obviously a prophecy of Christ’s crucifixion.
King David wrote most of the Psalms and he was never crucified.
We know when Jesus died on the cross that he gave “blood
for our sins” which is what the Israelite priests would
sprinkle on the center of the ark. You will also notice that
in Genesis 22 Abraham offers up his son Isaac as a sacrifice.
If Abraham offers his son then God must do the same. A blood
covenant.
You will recall from the first section of this page that God
said to create two seated angels on each side of the Ark. When
you read the Old Testament the following phrase appears numerous
times in the scriptures.
“He dwells between the Angels” – Psalms
99,80 | 1st Samuel 4 | 2 Kings 19 | Numbers 7
The first clue is when three men appeared to Abraham in the
book of Genesis. The scriptures tell us that two of these men
were angels sent to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Who is that third
man?
"And the men (two angels) turned their faces from thence, and
went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord" - Genesis
18 verse 22
“I see four men loose in the fire and the form of the
fourth is like the Son of God” – Daniel 3
“Who has ascended and descended? What is my Son’s name if
you can tell?” – Proverbs 30
“The Lord said unto my Lord” – Psalm 110 Trinity
We are provided hints throughout the Old Testament but the fulfillment
is found in John 20.
“And saw two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and
the other at the feet, where the
body of Jesus had lain. – John 20 (Two angels) sitting.
One on the left and one on the right exactly like the Ark of
the Covenant.
“The one who dwells between the angels. You are God” – Isaiah

The Manna
In addition to the Ten Commandments there were two other items
inside the ark. Aaaron’s Rod and The Manna (bread from
heaven). The bread is used for communion in remembrance of
Christ’s death on the cross.
“The bread of God is he which comes down from heaven,
and gives life unto the world.”
- John 6
“ I am that bread of life – John 6
Aaarons’ Rod and The Almonds
The first appearance of Aaaron’s Rod takes place in Exodus
when Moses went before the Pharaoh of Egypt. The prophet Ezekiel
refers to this pharaoh as “The Great Dragon” which
is a title for Satan given in the book of Revelation. We know
from various scriptures that he is also referred to as a snake/serpent.
“For they cast down every man his rod, and they became
serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.” – Exodus
7
The rod is used by God to signify the
one he has chosen to have authority. In chapter 17 of Numbers
the authority of Moses was
challenged by a group of rebellious Israelites. The men were
told to write each of their names on a rod and God would give
them a sign of the one he would choose. The men that rebelled
would eventually be sentenced to death for challenging God’s
authority.
“And it shall come to pass, that the
man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom. The rod
of Aaron for the house of
Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms,
and yielded almonds.” -Numbers
17
“And there shall come forth a
rod out of the stem of Jesse,
and a Branch shall grow out of his roots”– Isaiah
11
Jesse was the father of King David so this prophecy states that
the Messiah will come from the lineage of David, which Jesus
fulfilled.
“He shall rule them with a rod of iron” – Revelation
19
The almond seed or fruit is technically
not a true nut, but a drupe. A synonym commonly used for a
drupe is “Stone
Fruit”
“I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in
me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without
me you can do nothing.”- John 15
The Number 22 in Numerology
Christians obviously do not trust in nor do they practice Numerology
but the
definition of this number is:
"The Master Builder - The Spiritual Leader"
Sodium 22NA The atomic mass of salt
"You are the salt of the earth" -
Jesus

Calculating The Odds
The Bible contains 66 books written by 40
authors from Genesis to Revelation. Many of these men never met
each other
and lived in different time periods from 4,000
BC to 90AD. How amazing it is to consider the odds
of the "mercy seat" and "the stone the builders rejected" winding
up in the very center of the book.
